UHPH Contest 2021
The UHPH Platform, within the framework of the IV Latin American and the Caribbean Housing Forum, “ACTION FOR SHELTER AND SETTLMENTS FACING COVID-19,” that was hold on May 17-21, 2021, made it´s contest with three categories: 1. Public Policies 2. Inspirational Practices, and 3. Shelter Technologies (ShelterTech Award).
30 project were finalists—10 per category—noteworthy initiatives that help “make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable” (SDG No. 11), empowering post-pandemic reactivation and the sustainable transformation of housing and urban habitat towards a more inclusive, resilient and healthy future.
UHPH 2021 CONTEST WINNING INITIATIVES
Meet the 12 winning categories of the 2021 UHPH Contest. That were presented at the 4th Housing Forum 2021. In addition, one initiative per category was selected by the votes of the attendees to the Forum as the “Best in Show”, and received a surprise prize.

- Cali Eco-Crea, Colombia
- Tu Casa en la Ciudad (Your House in the City), Mexico
- Estrategia de Fortalecimiento Comunitario (EFC – Community Strengthening Strategy), Ecuador
